A recent update to Zoom has added the option to share your chosen pronouns in meetings. If you choose to enable this feature, Zoom will include your chosen pronouns next to your name whenever you choose to share them, without you needing to change your profile name to include them.
To enable pronouns, your Zoom program must be updated to 5.7.0 or newer. You can check your version by clicking your initials or profile picture in the upper right corner of your Zoom screen and clicking Check for Updates. If you are not on the latest version of Zoom, it will prompt you to upgrade. If you are, it will tell you which version you have.
Once your program is up-to-date, open the menu by clicking your initials or profile picture, then click on My Profile.
This will take you to your profile screen, where you can change various personal information and settings. Click Edit.
Enter your chosen pronouns, and choose when you want them to be displayed. You can choose for them to always be displayed in meetings, to never be displayed in meetings, or to ask you each time you join. Click Save when you're done.
Once enabled, your pronouns will now be next to your name in meetings whenever you so choose.
